We’re a big family from North Dakota who fell in love with Cape Coral’s easy rhythm — the warmth, the water, and the way life seems to slow down just enough to notice what really matters.
This home became our way to hold onto that feeling — and to share it.
South Del Prado Point was created for families to reconnect, to breathe, to laugh, and to make memories that linger long after the suitcases are unpacked.
Meet Your Hosts
It started as a family trip — sunshine, salt air, and no real plan except to slow down. Days on the canal, the kids swimming until dusk, mornings quiet except for coffee by the pool and the sound of the palms. Somewhere between the stillness and the laughter, we felt something shift.
Cape Coral had a rhythm we hadn’t realized we were missing. No schedules, no rush — just connection. We found a house that carried that feeling: on the canal, near the Yacht Club, big enough for our family and small enough to still feel close. Wyatt saw the freedom in the water; I saw the story in the light. Together, we made a space that holds both.
South Del Prado Point became our family’s pause — the place where time stretches, conversation lingers, and everything unnecessary falls away. Now, we get to share it with others who crave the same kind of ease — a home away from home where you can breathe a little deeper, move a little slower, and remember what really matters.

We stayed at South Del Prado in Cape Coral, Florida last week, and it was absolutely beautiful! The sunny weather was such a treat after the cold, windy days in North Dakota. The house itself was gorgeous and so much fun—spacious enough for everyone to spread out and relax. We loved spending time in the big, heated pool and on the beautiful patio, which felt like our own little tropical getaway. The pool table was a huge hit with the kids, keeping them entertained for hours!
Beyond the house, we explored a nearby beach that was just a short drive away, and found a favorite ice cream shop we loved so much we went there twice. Everything about our stay was relaxing, fun, and full of sunshine—definitely our favorite Florida getaway so far!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Cape Coral! The home was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring the area. I loved how close it was to great restaurants, grocery stores, and on a canal—super convenient without being crowded.
The host was extremely responsive and friendly, making check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. The house had everything I needed: a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, fast Wi-Fi, and plenty of space to unwind. The outdoor area was a highlight—perfect for morning coffee or winding down in the evening. The pool was a perfect temp and oooh so relaxing.
